Why we started
Building and infrastructure systems are becoming more complex, more constrained and more expensive to get wrong. Yet early-stage design, where the most important decisions are made, is still dominated by manual workflows, static assumptions and fragmented tools.

We started Baytimized to change that.

Our approach
We believe design should be computational rather than repetitive. Instead of assembling options by hand and checking them after the fact, we encode design intent, constraints and performance targets into algorithms that generate, test and optimise solutions.

Our workflows translate engineering rules, physical constraints and operational requirements into design logic. This lets us configure, evaluate and optimise options long before detailed design begins.

We are not replacing engineering judgement; we are augmenting it. Computational methods let us explore thousands of valid design options, check compliance and optimise for performance, efficiency and resilience. Experienced engineers then review and interpret the results.

Where we focus
We focus on projects where early design decisions have long-term operational, energy and carbon consequences, from regulatory compliance (Part L, Part O) to certification (BREEAM, LEED) and whole life carbon.
